Problem:
We have identified a problem with reverse hosting web servers through Surrogate Socket. Due to the limited buffer space it will cause pages to be fragmented. Some pages will appear to be loading fine while leaving off the bottom of the page, while some will not load at all.
Notice:
CornerPost Software currently recommends reverse hosting web sites with Surrogate Socket if they are low to medium traffic web sites. Since each connection made in Surrogate Socket takes a couple of megabytes of RAM, and unlike FTP, HTML requires several connections at a time, the RAM usage is much higher with HTML connections.
Solution:
In order to fix the problem you will have to do the following:
1. Open the Surrogate Socket service control.
2. Click on the setting tab.
3. Take the less memory slider bar to the FAR LEFT
4. Take the more clients slider bar to the FAR RIGHT
5. After this is completed stop and then restart Surrogate Socket.
